Disney World has almost one hundred rides and hundreds of other attractions spread across four distinct theme parks. With this large number, it can be overwhelming to decide what attractions to visit, especially if you only have a short time to visit the park. Knowing ahead of time which attractions in each park are the 'must see' visits will be crucial to you having the best Disney Experience possible.

Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is the iconic park of Disney World. With Cinderella's Castle standing tall and beautiful, you cannot help but be drawn to the magic of the place. There are so many attractions to experience there from the classically calm to the thrill seeking. Beginning with the calm, you must add the Jungle Cruise and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin to your list. For the more thrilling rides be sure to experience Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Finally, don't forget to add the opportunity to see some of Disney's most fantastic shows such as the Spectromagic parade, The Hall of Presidents, Mickey's Philharmagic, and the Wishes Fireworks spectacular that plays each evening.

Epcot

The second of the four parks may not have as many rides as its predecessor but you still have the opportunity to have an incredible adventure. While there, spend some time exploring some of Epcot's great shows like O Canada and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. Then, you can head off to experience the thrills of the scientific in rides such as Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure and the Sum of All Thrills. Epcot also features an opportunity for you to feel the wind in your face and experience great speeds in the rides of Mission: Space, Test Rack, and Soarin before cooling off in The Seas with Nemo and Friends. And, if you have the opportunity to visit Epcot during the annual International Food and Wine Festival, do not hesitate to experience that.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom becomes a unique opportunity to experience a new world. One major attraction you cannot miss is the Tree of Life; essentially, it is this park's castle. You and your family can pretend to be an archeologist in the Boneyard Playground before stepping out on an on a family safari on the Maharajah Jungle Trek. Then, let your adventurous side out as you enjoy the rides of Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, Primevil Whirl, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. Finally, make sure you leave time to see two of Animal Kingdom's best shows: It's Tough to be a Bug and Festival of the Lion King.

Hollywood Studios

This final theme park lets you get a glimpse of the behind the scenes workings of making movies. The Hollywood Studios park has the smallest number of actual rides with just the Rock-N-Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror as the two largest ones. You can also experience the world of Toy Story in an active shooting gallery video game called Toy Story Midway Mania. One thing that Hollywood Studios has a lot of is shows, and these shows really allow you to experience the magic of Hollywood. Understand movie stunts with the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Show Spectacular, and Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show. Be a star or a voting member of the audience with the American Idol Experience and then see the magic of the 'Beauty and the Beast' stage show before ending your day. Gain a better appreciation and understanding of Walt Disney himself at the Walt Disney: One Man's Dream attraction. And if you visit around Christmas time don't forget to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights while you there as well. And, if you have any flexibility in scheduling your visit, and are a Star Wars fan, try and visit during the annual Star Wars weekend.

Experience the magic of Disney by visiting each of the four parks' most magical attractions. Knowing which ones are the do-not-miss things to see and do will make your trip that much better as you plan your itinerary.
